  1. Hi,
I’m Ana Maria and I’m 12 years old, I love your Horses and Friends series, I know their plot, setting, and characters by heart. They have inspired me to write my own christian book,
The Adventures of Grace & Neska: The Secret Meadow
I’m not done yet, but I enjoy writing it. Your books and your story were the reason I fell in love with reading.
Thank You for Blessing my Heart.

    1. Hi Ana Maria, it’s sooo good to hear from you! Your letter is an inspiration to me. I have on more book (book 6) to write to finish the series and I haven’t had time lately to get it done. Now I’m going to try to work on it a little harder, as I’d love you to be able to keep reading. I’m so proud of you that you’re writing your own books! That’s a very big accomplishment, and one that adults don’t always follow-through and do, even when they want to. I’m beyond happy that my books caused you to fall in love with reading. Once you start finding out how wonderful stories are, you’ll never quit. I’m thrilled I had a small part in that. Warm hugs, Miralee

  2. Wishing on buttercups is a book I thoroughly enjoyed. I love the descriptions of the time in which it was written. The propriety of the courtship. I actually truly love the book from beginning to end I listened to on chirp, I very much appreciated your word pictures some of your word pictures were so vivid I would have been thinking I could even smell what was going on. And of course the ending wasn’t bad either I am 78 years old and only in the last year or so I discovered that I enjoyed writing and I’m in the process of writing a book myself and I may have gotten just a little bit wordy because I now have about 440 pages. The book I am writing is a combination of fantasy love story science fiction and adventure in one book I’m almost to the end now I gotta figure out how to end it but I think I will end up with and I got with the impression that the book will continue because I have nowhere near exhausted or I want to go with the book.

    1. I’m so glad you enjoyed Wishing on Buttercups, and I wish you the best with your own venture in writing. I didn’t start writing until after I was 50, so it’s never too late. Blessings! Miralee

      1. I certainly hope that you are right, about starting to write at any age. I just turned 78 years old and never had written anything before.. I just listen through my book it took 14 hours I hope it’s not too long but I suspect some of it is going to get as they would say in the movies chopped off on the cutting room floor.. PS I just listen to your book called the cottage wedding and I found it equally entertaining.
