Burlap and Grace

Burlap and Grace

Burlap & Grace117My daughter-in-law, Hannah Ferrell (right) and her sister-in-law, Chelsea Kuepper, have started a new business that’s getting some attention.

The concept of Burlap & Grace was dreamed up over a cup of coffee by two sisters, who share a love of coffee, a Burlap & Grace081desire for creativity, and a heart to share God’s goodness and grace that has been given to us.  Our passion is Pendleton wool, leather, and burlap coffee bags handcrafted into goods that will bring a warmth of hospitality to your home, cabin, and the gatherings with friends and family that fill them. The styling inspired by our Burlap & Grace023Pacific Northwest roots is reflected in the raw beauty of the materials used.

Burlap & Grace has partnered with El Cafecito Bistro, a ministry connected to Forward Edge International in Managua, Nicaragua, who provides young women and others in the community with vocational training Burlap & Grace034and income.  This coffee shop blends business and ministry beautifully, and we invite you to play a part by making a difference in the global community.  For every product purchased in our market that uses burlap coffee bags, we will make a donation to El Cafecito Bistro.

The girls do all the work from their homes, and are Burlap & Grace007marketing it to small shops online, then ship the product to the buyers. I hope you’ll consider visiting their shop and possibly purchasing one of their products for yourself or a gift.

“Let brotherly love continue. Don’t neglect to show hospitality, for by doing this some have welcomed angels as guests without knowing it.” Hebrews 13:1-2
