Did You See My Movie??!!
Last night, there was a lot of excitement at my house. We watched the movie version of Runaway Romance, my contemporary romance, on UP TV (you can find UP on Direct TV, DishNet, Charter, and others).
The producer and director did a marvelous job! I loved the actors and actresses they chose, as well as the quality work and beautiful setting in Kentucky.
If you haven’t snagged a copy of the ebook or print version yet, you may want to read it–the book has a lot more detail/depth and an additional story line about a homeless woman in town, that I think you’ll enjoy.
If you missed it, it’s going to air one more time on Sunday, Jan. 14th, on the UP channel at 5 p.m. Eastern. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you’ve read the book or watched the movie!

Miralee, I WILL watch this…one way or another. But I have no doubt that it was absolutely fantastic! Congrats 🙂
Thank you, Taylor!! I hope you can find someone who has the channel!
I couldn’t wait to watch this! What a great movie! The story was wonderful, the actors were great ! Congratulations Miralee!! I can’t wait to watch the movie again. 🙂
Thank you! I”m so glad you enjoyed it. Have you had a chance to read the book yet? I really appreciate you writing.
Yes, I read the book and left review on Goodreads and am sending to Amazon. Love the story! 🙂
Thank you so much for doing that, Melissa!
I don’t watch too much UP, but when I saw it was based on your book I tuned in. Wonderful movie. Congratulations!
Thank you so much, Kassy! I hope you have a chance to read the book as well. It’s much stronger and has an additional story thread I loved.
We enjoyed the movie. Was it actually filmed in Kentucky?
Hi Edward, yes, it was filmed in Cave City, Kentucky, and those are the actual caves there. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you!
Loved the movie!! I especially liked the fun ending..now I want to see what happens next with the sweet Amish girl Sarah, and find out what Ann does with her future!
I’m so glad you loved it! Yes, you’ll hear more about Annie and Sarah in the second movie. But you’ll get lots more detail and a fuller story thread in the books.
I happened to catch your movie by chance. Enjoyed it very much & knew there had to be a book behind it 🙂 I WILL be reading them & also can’t wait to find out what happens next with Sarah & Annie. I love that Annie is a NEPA girl! She mentions a few times she is from Scranton PA – my area! Have you ever been to northeastern PA ?
Hi Amy! I’m so glad you stumbled onto my movie. That’s awesome! Sarah and Annie will both be part of book two, and movie two if the ratings are high enough on the first one and we have a second movie. The book is on sale right now on Amazon, so it’s a great time to snag a copy. Thank you for leaving a comment. I LOVE hearing from readers!
Dear Miralee Ferrell, Could you please tell me the titles of the series of which Runaway Romance is part?
Hi Alex, thanks for writing. When I wrote it I wasn’t sure if it would be a stand alone or a series. It appears it will be at least a two-book set at this point. I tentatively called it Reality Romance series, but I’m not thrilled with that. I’m going to be asking for input from my readers, and possibly change it. Right now you can order the book through any store using the title and my name, or online on Amazon, Christianbook.com, BarnesandNoble.com, etc.
