Burlap and Grace
My daughter-in-law, Hannah Ferrell (right) and her sister-in-law, Chelsea Kuepper, have started a new business that’s getting some attention.
The concept of Burlap & Grace was dreamed up over a cup of coffee by two sisters, who share a love of coffee, a desire for creativity, and a heart to share God’s goodness and grace that has been given to us. Our passion is Pendleton wool, leather, and burlap coffee bags handcrafted into goods that will bring a warmth of hospitality to your home, cabin, and the gatherings with friends and family that fill them. The styling inspired by our Pacific Northwest roots is reflected in the raw beauty of the materials used.
Burlap & Grace has partnered with El Cafecito Bistro, a ministry connected to Forward Edge International in Managua, Nicaragua, who provides young women and others in the community with vocational training and income. This coffee shop blends business and ministry beautifully, and we invite you to play a part by making a difference in the global community. For every product purchased in our market that uses burlap coffee bags, we will make a donation to El Cafecito Bistro.
The girls do all the work from their homes, and are marketing it to small shops online, then ship the product to the buyers. I hope you’ll consider visiting their shop and possibly purchasing one of their products for yourself or a gift.
“Let brotherly love continue. Don’t neglect to show hospitality, for by doing this some have welcomed angels as guests without knowing it.” Hebrews 13:1-2
