WIN Love Finds You in Tombstone, AZ

Win a personalized, signed copy of my new book, Love Finds You in Tombstone, AZ

Have you read Love Finds You in Last Chance, CA? This new book is a spin off featuring Christy Grey, the saloon girl who comes to town to cause trouble for the hero. If you enjoyed Last Chance, you won’t want to miss Christy’s continuing story!

In a town where dreams are buried, does love stand a chance?

Love and second chances aren’t easy to come by in a town named Tombstone. When Christy Grey receives an urgent summons to Tombstone, Arizona, she reluctantly leaves her new life in California. The trip goes from bad to worse when three masked men hold up Christy’s stage. She finally arrives in Tombstone to find her mother ill and her brother trapped in a life of gambling. Desperate for money to support her family, will Christy bow to pressure from the local saloon owners and return to the life she thought she’d given up for good?

Nevada Keene has problems of his own. He’s been dodging bullets for years and wants nothing more than to settle down. But he’s on the run from outlaws bent on revenge, and the one woman who captures his interest recognizes him from the stagecoach holdup. Will Christy turn Nevada in to the authorities, or will the outlaws on his trail catch him first?

Here’s what you do—multiple ways to win, so read all of the following:

1. Leave a comment letting me know if you’ve ever read one of my books. If so, what is your favorite so far? If not, do you like old west romance, or do you prefer contemporary? If you prefer women’s contemporary, you’ll be entered for a copy of The Other Daughter instead.

3. If you’re a member of the ACFW Book Club, let me know. I’ll put you in a third time.

  1. I have never read your books, but my friend has 2 of your books that I have already asked to borrow because she loves them so I will. I like historical westerns but I also like historicals that aren’t necessarily western like european. I don’t normally choose a contemporary romance but I do like those also, just not as much!’

  8. Hi Miralee,
I a now a follower of your blog, a member of the ACFW book club and I commented on your post.
I have read a few of your books both contemporary and historical. I love the historical ones but my favourite is Finding Jenna as I could identify with her in some ways. In fact it was in my top 10 reads for 2010.

  9. Honestly, I not only haven’t read any of your books, but haven’t even heard of them before. Just found my way over here from the ACFW book club email. Now I will have to look for your books. I am also a new follower and prefer both old historical west and contempory books. My personal thoughts are that there are way too many books to read and not near enough time.

  12. I forgot to mention….this book is the followup to Love Finds You in Last Chance, CA….although they are both stand alones, you’d probably enjoy this one more if you read Last Chance first.

    Courtney,
I’m so tickled you’re going to borrow my books. If your friend has the LFY set in Last Chance, Ca, read it before this new one, as it introduces Christy, the main character in Tombstone.

    Hi Wendy,
That’s great that you’ve read some of the LFY books and enjoy them. This is my 3rd and I have a 4th releasing Aug 1st, and they’re all historical romance.

    Anne,
Thank you for the compliment on Nevada’s name! I’m working on one now with the hero named Arizona.

    Bill,
So glad you stopped by and hope you can make the Portland ACFW meeting in April. My books are heavy on the ‘old west’ elements and lighter on the romance, so maybe they wouldn’t scare you too much, LOL! I don’t write mushy romance.

    Joy, Kyndra & Amanda,
Thanks so much for stopping in, and for being willing to read one of my books. If you ever do (& of course I hope that will be soon) please let me know what you think? I love reader feedback.

    Jenny,
I’m so thrilled that you liked Finding Jeena best, thank you!! And to make your top 10 is a huge honor. Did you happen to post a review on Amazon or CBD? If so, thank you!! Sorry I don’t have a contemporary to offer you that you haven’t already read if you win.

    Colleen,
So glad to meet you!! I’m happy you found your way here and hope that someday you’ll consider picking up one of my books if you don’t happen to win this one. I’d love to add you as a reader!

    Jo,
Another Finding Jeena fan, Yay!!! Did you read The Other Daughter, that came firs? I’m guessing you probably did, so I won’t be able to offer you a new contemporary that you don’t already have. Hope you won’t mind a historical if you win.

    Linda,

If you read LFY in Last Chance, CA, then you might actually want to take this book if you win (unless you didn’t care for Last Chance, of course). This is a follow up to that book. But if you still prefer a contemporary, that’s not a problem. Thanks for entering!

  13. I just read your book the other week and really enjoyed it! Would love to read the one about Last Chance, CA. I love historical westerns, but read just about anything in the Christian fiction section! 🙂

  14. I have read, and enjoyed, Love Finds You in Last Chance, CA. I would love to have an autographed copy of your new book, love Finds You in Tombstone, AZ.

  15. Hi Miralee I haven’t read LFYI Last Chance yet and I do love the LFYI books (although I really need one set in say Utah! trying to read books from all states and 19 states I still need to find a book set there)
So If I won would love a LFYI book.

  16. Miralee,
I have not read your books before, but this one Love Finds You in Tombstone, Az sounds like something I would enjoy. I love historical western romance and also contemporary books, but historical westerns are my fave. I am an ACFW member and just learned about you in that club and I also answered your question about whether people buy books after winning a giveaway.

Thank you for the opportunity to win a copy of your book! Blessings!

  17. Hi Miralee, This sounds like a fantastic book. I haven’t read the first one and now I’m all excited about reading both of them. I like western romance – my debut novel coming out next Jan. is a western romance set in Colorado/New Mexico. I pretty much only read and write historicals.

I’m following your blog now and am a member of the acfw book club so I’d love to be included in your drawing.

    Blessings!

  18. I have read all of your books, I think!!! And I have to say I like your contemporary books best!!! The Other daughter and Finding Jeena were really incredible writing!
I am a member of the ACFW group too!

  19. I haven’t read any of your books yet. I usually pick historical over contemporary, but it depends on the book. I like both! I did answer your question on the Yahoo list and I am a follower.

  20. Unfortunately, I have not yet had the pleasure of reading any of your books. I intend to rectify that real sooon.

I am a member of the ACFW bookclub.

I am a follower of your blog.

I didn’t comment on your question, but I intended to because I found it quite interesting that two other authors and I were having that exact same discussion regarding giveaways at the same time you asked.

I usually prefer contmeporary fiction but ever since I read Karen Witemeyer’s book, Head in the Clouds, I have begun to develop a liking for this genre.

  23. I have read Love finds you in Last Chance, California and since reading that book I have been trying to buy, win or recieve as a gift all the other books in that series. It was a great book and I will definitely be buying the follow up to Christy’s story if I don’t win it. I recieved Love finds you in Bridal Veil Colorado for Christmas from a good friend and since I had to move quickly all my books were packed up and I’m slowly going through the boxes now and pulling out a few at a time so I have not read it yet, but I can’t wait to do so.

I am now a follower of your blog and can’t wait to see what you post next!

I just responded to your question about whether the books featured as giveaways promote sales in the future.

Thanks for the opportunity to win this book.

  24. Linda–desertroses–you’re the winner of my drawing congratulations!!! Please email me at miralee at gorge dot net with your mailing address, plus we need to discuss which books you’d like a copy of, as well.

Thank you all for entering!! I’m hosting an excellent contemporary romance in a few days with a debut author–her writing is great! So be sure to stop back by.

    Blessings,
    Miralee

  25. I have not read any of your books, but would like to. I would prefer the contemporary novel.
    thank you

  26. I have read all but two of your books, and the only reason I have not read those is because I have not found where to purchase them yet! I have enjoyed the ones I have read, my favorite thus far is “Love Finds You in Tombstone Arizona.” I have never sat your book down and thought, “well, I’ll get back to that one of these days,” I’m always drawn to read, read, read until I finish them. As far as books topics/styles I prefer, I am usually drawn to books centered around an area of interest, such as the Grand Canyon, Washington DC, etc. and in the era of the 1950s or earlier, reflecting people, lifestyles and facts of the times. Okay, well, enough said … lol
